The workshop venue is the Low Wood Bay Resort,

Ambleside Road, Windermere, Cumbria, LA23 1LP

Check-in will be from 3pm on your day of arrival, or

earlier if your room is ready. 

Check-out will be by 11am on your day of departure.

Meals are included for the full duration of the workshop. Refreshments will be available during the breaks between workshop sessions. You will need to arrange your own drinks for lunch and dinner.

There is complimentary unlimited Wi-Fi throughout the hotel. You will be supplied with the Wi-Fi password in your welcome pack on arrival.

All rooms are furnished to a high standard with en-suite bathrooms. They feature tea and coffee making facilities.

The hotel has a lounge area and leisure facilities. The leisure facilities, including a gym and swimming pool, are free to use during your stay.

By Rail
Windermere is the closest station. Trains from London take approximately 3.5 hours and involve one change at Oxenholme Lake District. For train times, visit National Rail Arrival is to Windermere Train Station, then take a taxi to the hotel. Alternatively take a taxi directly from Oxenholme station (see below)

By Taxi
Local taxi services can be contacted on +44 (0)1539 444144 and +44 (0)1539 4888888 or book online here and the transfer time to the hotel from Windermere station is approximately 10 minutes and costs approximately £8-10. Taxis from Oxenholme Lake District Train Station if you prefer not to transfer to Windermere, are £35-40.

The closest airport is Manchester. There are multiple trains travelling north, but those with only one change at Oxenholme Lake District are shortest, at approximately 2 hours.

Use the postcode LA23 1LP. The Low Wood Bay Hotel is on the waterfront. There is free unlimited parking available.
